Eleanor Potter, PT
Eleanor, born in Ireland, received her Physical Therapy Degree from University College Dublin in 1984 and has 34 years of physical therapy experience. She came to the U.S. in 1986 and has been working in the Chicagoland area ever since in a variety of healthcare settings. A mother of two, she became interested in Women’s Health Physical Therapy in 1996 after the birth of her second child. She has regularly attended continuing education seminars in the area of pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, incontinence, and musculoskeletal dysfunction during pregnancy. She has worked at Kamin Physical Therapy since 2004. Eleanor is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Section on Women’s Health of the APTA. She is also a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society, National Vulvodynia Association, Chicagoland Pelvic Floor Research Consortium and International Association of Healthcare Providers.
