Cara Murphy, PT, DPT

Cara has been practicing as a Physical Therapist for 24 years, 22 of which have been in an outpatient orthopedic setting. She has been practicing pelvic floor physical therapy for 20 years. Cara graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Kinesiology and Minor in Psychology. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Finch University of Health Sciences / The Chicago Medical School (currently Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science). She utilizes many treatment options but mostly enjoys treating patients with manual therapy. She is also trained in dry needling. Cara became interested in treating pelvic floor disorders from her own personal experience being a patient. Cara has a special interest in treating back/neck/thoracic pain, GI disorders, pregnancy and postpartum issues, and pelvic pain in both men and women. Outside of the clinic, Cara enjoys spending time with her two daughters and family, cooking, practicing yoga, scuba diving when on vacation, and traveling.
